BHJ Cool Off is a leading global supplier of specialty ingredients for premium pet food and treats. With an innovative, engineering mindset, Cool Off was founded back in 1982 and as part of the journey, the company became part of BHJ, a leading global supplier of animal proteins for the international food and pet food industries, in 2024.
For BHJ Cool Off, the sustainability journey is a key part of their growth strategy, and includes a strong emphasis on reducing CO2 emissions through the use of solar energy.
BHJ has a long history as an international supplier of meat and fish raw materials for the food and pet food industries. BHJ is headquartered in Denmark and has processing facilities and offices in Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Australasia and employs more than 1200 personnel.
